I have too many games and can't decide. What do I do?

That's exactly what Inventory Full is for. A library of 100+ games is the jam-wall problem from Iyengar's choice-overload research — more options means less action. We cut your library down to one pick so you can stop browsing and start playing.

What is a pile of shame?

It's gamer slang for the unplayed games piling up in your library — usually bought during sales or bundles. Inventory Full helps you actually play them by removing the decision paralysis that keeps you closing the launcher without picking anything.

Is Inventory Full free?

Yes. No sign-up required, no ads, no tracking. Your library data stays on your device unless you opt into cloud sync.

The short version

Inventory Full is a free gaming backlog tool. Use it to track your games, figure out what to play, and feel good about actually playing them. Don't abuse it, and we'll keep making it better.

1. What the app does

Inventory Full helps you manage your gaming backlog. You can import games from Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, track your progress, get mood-based game recommendations, and see stats about your library. The app is provided “as is” and is free to use.

2. Your account

You can use the app without an account. Everything works locally in your browser. If you create an account for cloud sync, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We use Supabase for authentication.

3. Your data

Your game library data belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of any content you add (notes, ratings, shelves). You can export your data at any time using the Export Backup feature. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.

4. Game data and third parties

Game metadata (descriptions, images, prices, completion times) comes from third-party APIs including RAWG, IsThereAnyDeal, HowLongToBeat, Steam, and PlayStation Network. This data is provided by those services and may change. We don't guarantee its accuracy.

Game cover art, logos, and descriptions are the property of their respective publishers and developers. We display them under fair use for the purpose of helping you manage your personal game library.

5. Subscription catalog browsing

Inventory Full may offer the ability to browse game catalogs from subscription services (such as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus). Catalog availability is sourced from those platforms and may not always be current. We are not affiliated with Microsoft, Sony, or any game publisher. The availability of specific games on any subscription service is determined solely by those services.

6. Discord bot (Pip)

We run an optional Discord bot called Pip. Server admins can add Pip to their own Discord server to use slash commands like /pick and /archetype. Pip processes commands statelessly and does not store any Discord user data, messages, or server information. Pip is provided “as is” on the same terms as the rest of the service. The acceptable use terms in Section 8 apply to Pip interactions.

7. Affiliate links

Some game deal links may include affiliate parameters. If you purchase through these links, we may earn a small commission. We always show the actual price. We never inflate or misrepresent pricing.

8. Acceptable use

Don't:

Abuse the API endpoints (rate limiting is in place)
Attempt to access other users' data
Use automated tools to scrape the service
Misrepresent yourself or impersonate others

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app running and improving, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We'll try to communicate significant changes, but this is a passion project and things evolve.

10. Personalized recommendations

Inventory Full provides personalized game recommendations based on your library data, selected mood, available time, and your history with the recommendation engine. The app learns from your choices over time (which games you skip, which you commit to, which you finish) to make better suggestions. These recommendations are generated algorithmically from your own data and are not influenced by third-party advertisers or publishers. No one pays us to recommend specific games to you.

Player Archetypes, stats, behavioral profiles, and contextual nudges are generated for your entertainment and personal insight. They are not used for advertising, credit decisions, employment screening, or any purpose outside of your experience in this app.

11. Limitation of liability

Inventory Full is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any data loss (always use the Export Backup feature), inaccurate game data from third parties, or any decisions you make based on the app's recommendations.

The “library value” calculations are estimates based on available pricing data and should not be considered financial advice.

12. Age requirement

Inventory Full is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, please do not use this service or provide any personal information. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will delete their account and associated data.

13. Data deletion

You have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Email privacy@inventoryfull.gg and we will process your request within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts.

14. Intellectual property

The Inventory Full app, its design, code, and original content are our intellectual property. The themes, UI patterns, and brand identity are part of what makes this app unique. Please don't clone it wholesale.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
